How to Draw Manga Eyes
Ah, the varieties that manga eyes come in. The eyes above show the different manga style eyes there are. These are not all of them though. There are tons more. I am no expert in drawing manga but I know a lot of it. I drew manga since I was ten. So thats eight more years of drawing manga. Manga is Japanese animation, or for short, anime. This tutorial will be a guide to help you draw the simplest female manga eye. So, I hope this tutorial will come useful in your practices of drawing. So go ahead and try out this lesson on "how to draw manga eyes", step by step. Remember, it would be nice to comment on this tutorial. I can handle tough critiques! Have fun drawing manga!! ^_^

STEP 1.
Begin with a horseshoe type of hoop. This is basically the base of the eye.
STEP 2.
Above that hoop, draw a long curved line with a hook at the left end.
STEP 3.
At the bottom of the eye, draw a straight line with a hook line at the end. This is the bottom of the eye. Manga eyes don't enclose so don't attach these lines to one another! Add a cornered circle at the top left of the eye. This will be the shinny wet spot that makes the eye look like its glimmering.
STEP 4.
Add the black oval pupil and thicken three lashes at the right top side of the eye. This is a female manga eye right?!
STEP 5.
Now, add the lid at the top of the whole eye. This makes the manga eye's real and not 'all' cartoony.
STEP 6.
For the finishing step, erase some mess ups and you should be done with clean lineart. Ink in your pencil lines and you could come out with this. Comment this tutorial to let me know if I should make an eye coloring tutorial. Thanks viewers!
