How to Draw a Halloween Horse

1

We will have to begin by making the shapes for the head and body. Connect the two shapes with a neck line, then sketch in the facial guide.

2

Draw out the structure lining to begin shaping out the face. Draw the snout shape too.

3

Here we will tackle the task of drawing the face. Start with the eyes, then draw in the lashes. You will draw the mouth and add a nostril hole mark.

4

Draw the lid lining for the front part of the witch hat, then begin drawing out her curly mane. Sketch in the strand lines as well.

5

Finish drawing out the witch's hat. You will incorporate the ear shape which is protruding through the hat. Add some detailing and definition to the material.

6

The whole top part of the Halloween horse is drawn all we have to do now is work on the body. Draw the chest, then sketch out the front leg and hoof. Draw the shape of the body, then move to step seven.

7

Sketch out the hind leg and hoof like so, then draw the long flowing curly tail. You will need to add some hair to overlap the hooves.

8

To finish things off you will draw in the rest of the mane which is past the front hooves. Sketch out the other hind leg, then add detailing to the mane and tale. Erase the mistakes then you're done.

9

Here is what the new horse design looks like all drawn in. Add some color and you're done.

This black stallion is rearing and ready to gallop along the town as she knocks on people's doors yelling "trick or treat!". The long flowing wavy mane colored with orange streaks makes this Halloween horse exciting to replicate. I really like how she came out, and I think a lot of you will enjoy this tutorial too. Maybe you can tweak the horse to make it even better. Enjoy people and Happy Halloween to you all.
