How to Draw a Candy Apple, Halloween Candy Apple

Okay guys, I have a special treat for you all and I know a lot of you will flip out over this next submission. To really celebrate Halloween, you must, at least once, eat and or draw a candy apple. I had several ideas as to how I wanted to draw my candy apple. I either wanted to cover it with just plain caramel, chocolate, or maybe both. But instead, I turned a red apple upside down, and draw a chocolate dip around it. I also added some candy corn, and some candied specs. The candy apple also has a chibi style or look which makes it even more exciting to recreate. So I hope you enjoy drawing a candy apple, I will be back with more Halloween fun.

STEP 1.

What you will do first is draw out the base shape of the apple. As you can see it's not a perfect shape and this is due to the candy covering the apple.

STEP 2.

You will now draw out the Popsicle stick that is inserted into the center of the apple's core. Add the dimple, then move onto step three.

STEP 3.

Here you will add all the candy corn shapes all over the candy apple. Make sure that the candy corn shapes are not uniform, just similar.

STEP 4.

Add the stripes on the candy corns, and then draw the caramel or chocolate swerve line. Erase your mistakes, then you're done.

STEP 5.

Here is how the apple looks when you are all done. Now you can color the whole thing in. Good job everyone!
