How to Draw the Easter Bunny, Step by Step, Easter, Seasonal, FREE Online Drawing Tutorial, Added by Dawn, December 16, 2008, 9:52:39 pm

Okay lets start this first step by drawing out the shape of the top part of his head which is a circle. You will then add the facial guidelines and draw out a half disc shape for his cheeks. Next make two floppy lines for his ears and then another circle shape for his body. Once that is done you will add the guidelines for his hind feet and front arms.

STEP 2.

In this next step you will thicken the shape of the ears a bit as shown and then color in two eyes. Draw a wide "W" for his nose and then start drawing out the shape of his hind end and hind leg. Puff up his fur around the joint and then draw out the shape of his small puffy arms and hands. Make the lining for the basket and then draw out the rest of the shape for the small chick on the lower right hand side.

STEP 3.

You are now on step three and what you will do here is draw out the rest of the ear shape and then give this bunny a cute little nose. Once that is done you will draw out the shape of the basket some more and then detail the feet and add a cotton shaped tail. Detail the chic some more and then move to the next step.

STEP 4.

You have now made it to your last drawing step and what you will do here is add the whiskers and then detail the inside of the right ear. Once that is done you will add some eggs in his basket and then detail the wicker around the whole thing. Finish off the chic by adding an eye and then add some fur to the wrist of his hands. You will erase all the guidelines that you drew in step one.

STEP 5.

Once you are done your drawing should come out like this. All you have to do now is color him in and your all set. I hope you liked this early Easter tutorial on how to draw an Easter Bunny step by step.

Artist CommentsHello everyone, welcome back to another drawing tutorial here on DragoArt.com. For my first tutorial of the day I will be starting the holiday season for Easter early this year with a drawing lesson on how to draw an Easter Bunny step by step. As all you kiddies know the Easter Bunny is a traditional figure that delivers eggs and baskets of toys to little boys and girls all over the world. As for me, I am a little too big to be receiving anything from the Easter Bunny so all I get is some chocolate and maybe a gift or two. For Christians and Catholics, Easter represents something different. This day is in fact a holy day representing the resurrection of Christ after he was crucified on the cross for all our sins. But that is only if your religion believes in this concept, for other religions Easter Sunday stands for something else. Now for the bunny that I will be showing you how to draw is actually going to be very easy to do because he is chunky, puffy, and cute. He is pink in color and he has a basket of eggs ready to hide and deliver to all the children that believe in him. I hope you will like learning how to draw the Easter Bunny step by step. Like always the steps are easy to follow and the instructions are simple to read. I will be back with more drawing fun in a bit so stay tuned until my return.
