How to Draw Chibi Alvin, Alvin and the Chipmunks

1

Begin by making two circles, one big one for the and a smaller one for his body. Sketch in the facial guidelines like so, then proceed on.

2

You will now sketch out the shape or outline of Alvin's face like so, then draw in three chunks of hair that stick out of his hat like bangs. Draw the outline of an ear as well.

3

now we will start drawing his face. Using those facial guidelines that you made in step one, draw out big circles for his innocent looking infant eyes. Finish the face by add the detailing inside of the ear, then add the eyebrow, nose and mouth.

4

You will now draw the ball cap with the lid being extra long. The part the covers the head should be shaped just like a bowl. Draw in the striped lines as well as the button at the center of the hat.

5

Okay, so the head, face and hat is all drawn out. All we need to do now is draw the body. Start with the high neck collar, then draw his arm, back, butt, and some of his leg. Draw in the foot too.

6

Midnight Draw in the other arm, then sketch out the small hands. You will end this step by drawing his other foot on the left side.

7

You have finally reached the last drawing step. All you need to do here is erase the mistakes as well as guides, then draw in the shoe pad or sole on the bottoms of each foot.

8

Here is chibi Alvin looking like he just fell down. Now you can color him in using the original shades you would on his regular form.

Description: Okay folks, here is what I call the most cutest chipmunk that I have ever created. I was asked to make a tutorial on "how to draw chibi Alvin", step by step. I know that Alvin and the Chipmunks are no longer as popular as they used to be, but I couldn't turn down such a request because I knew I would have fun creating a chibi version of Alvin. I wanted to make him look as infant as possible, so what I did was, draw him in a baby pose. You know how babies sit with their short stubby, but flexible legs spread apart as they goo and gaa? Well, Alvin is doing the same thing. I don't think there is any way you can possibly deny tackling this tut on drawing chibi Alvin because he is just too darn adorable to look away from. That's all for this description, but I will return in a bit with more drawing fun. Adios people and remember to keep this little guy in your sight!
