How to Draw Marge
Well I am up to my forth tutorial and this time it will be on another Simpson character from the animated series. Right now I will show you how to draw Marge Simpson from the Simpsons step by step. Now Marge is a good mother and very devoted wife and even friend. She absolutely loves Homer and her three kids and is often seen trying to discipline them all so that they will grow up the proper way. She really doesn’t have to discipline Lisa too much because she is a straight A student that loves to play the saxophone on a daily basis. Now the two people that she is always trying to keep on a straight and narrow is Homer and Bart the two men of the house who also happen to be the biggest kids of the house. I wanted to draw Marge in a way to show that she is stern and loving at the same time. So with this character all I did was sketch out a rough draft of her body position and then work from there. If you notice all the Simpson characters are being drawn on a three fourths view because that is how they mainly appear in the series. This tutorial will show you in detail how to draw Marge Simpson from The Simpsons step by step. I will be back in a few with the remaining lessons in a bit so keep your eyes peeled and your hands ready to draw again.

STEP 1.
Okay start this first step by drawing out the circle shape for her head and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw out the shape of her long looking body and then add the limb guidelines for her legs and then the shapes of her feet.
STEP 2.
Now you will start to draw out her high looking hair that happens to be bumpy. Now you will start to draw out the shape of her mouth and then draw out her pearl like necklace circles. Now you will draw the lining of her arms and hands and then the bottom of her dress. The last thing you will draw is the back lining of her legs and then the front line of her shoes.
STEP 3.
Finish off Marge's hair and then give her circle shaped eyes. Add pupils and then finish the shape of her nose and then her arms which happen to be crossed. Finish her legs and then start erasing the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.
STEP 4.
Once your done your animated character should come out looking like this. All you have to do now is color her in and that is it. Well you have just learned how to draw Marge Simpson from The Simpsons step by step.Comments: Post Comment
