Begin with two shapes, one for the head, and the other for the body. You will sketch in the facial guidelines like so to make drawing the face easier.

2

Next, sketch out the actual shape of the pit bulls block style head, then draw in the cropped pointed ears. You will also need to draw in some of the thick strong neck.

3

Continue to work on the body by drawing out the back, butt end, then the front legs and one back leg. The chest and stomach also need to be added.

4

Before we finish off drawing a pit bull for kids, you need to draw in the other back leg, then the tail which is pointed at the tip.

Now we can draw in the face. Start with the small round eyes, then draw the nose, and big grinning mouth or smile. Add the tongue which is hanging out of the mouth a bit too. Color in the eyes then add detailing to the ears. You can begin erasing you

When you're done you should end up with a drawing like the one you see here. Now all you have to do is color him/her in. Great work folks!

Description: Yup I had to do it. I had to go and make a lesson for all you pit bull lovers out there that like to draw simple things but stoill get your image across. Here is a lesson that was requested by a couple members on "how to draw a pit bull for kids", step by step. Despite the negative feedback these dogs get, there are still mkillons of owners out there that have these dogs as household family pets. The pitbull is a fighting dog by nature, which is why they get a bad reputation from the jump. I myself think that they are adorable, so let me just show you all how it's done when drawing a pit bull in a for kids style. The lesson will be so mich easier to tackle then the realistic version of a pit bull. You can totally draw this dog to decorate the covers of your books, or you can just use this as a doodling project when you're sitting in class or study hall bored. I had fun with this concept so I know you will too. I still have one more tutorial coming your way so stick around to see what it is. Peace out folks and like always, enjoy!
