How to Draw Crash Bandicoot
So far today I have shown you how to draw Bart and Homer Simpson step by step. It is now time that I take a turn to the video game direction and do a tutorial on how to draw Crash Bandicoot step by step. Now this character happens to be very popular and crazy because he has outrageous moves and agility. Crash is an animal called a bandicoot and believe it or not these animals really do exist. They are small marsupial creatures that look like a cross between a possum and an armadillo. Now Crash was genetically created by Doctor Neo Cortex and because Crash didn’t come out evil, he considers him a big fat failure. Dr. Cortex often conjures up ideas to somehow take over the planet for his evil needs. So, he works with Doctor Nitrus Brio to create what they call the “Evolvo Ray”. Together they use the Evolvo Ray, to evolve various animals living on the islands into beasts with superhuman abilities to cause problems and over populate the planet. It is Crash Bandicoot’s job to stop the two Doctors before they make mucks out of the islands and the world. Now as the game story goes, Crash is thrown out of the castle because he came out of the Vortex with a kind heart. After he washes up on N. Sanity Island he comes to a decision to stop Cortex and Brio and save his love interest Tawna. He is aided in his quest by Aku Aku who happens to be a voodoo mask that holds the spirit of the old witch doctor that watches and protects over the three main islands. The game is very addictive and I can totally see why my younger brother is insanely hooked on the game series. This tutorial will show you how to draw Crash Bandicoot step by step and soon I will show you how to draw Crash Bandicoot and friends. This tutorial comes with easy to follow steps and simple to read instructions. I hope you will have a blast when learning this lesson. I will be back with more awesome drawing for you to discover. STEP 1.
Okay start this first step by drawing out the shapes and guidelines to form a frame for Crash. Start with a circle for the head and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw out the body lines for his torso and then the shapes of his arms and hands. Once that is done you will add his legs lines.
STEP 2.
In this next step you will start drawing out the shape of his body and head as you see here. This includes the right side of his head, his right ear and then his eyebrow arches. You will then add the guidelines for his fingers and shape out his arms and legs. Draw out the right foot and move to the next step.
STEP 3.
As you can see by the time you are finished with step three you will see more of Crash's image. Start by adding his fur around his outer mouth and then draw out the shapes of his bushy eyebrows and head. Once that is done you can add the lining for the lower part of his face and then give him a nose. Finish off his finger shapes and then add some fur lines on his stomach and chest around the edges. Draw his belt and then his pants and sneakers. You will add some detail to his sneakers as well.
STEP 4.
Well this is your last step and what you will do now is finish off his appearance. Draw out the two egg shapes for his eyes and give him some eyeballs and pupils. Detail the inside of his ear and then give him some pearly whites or teeth. Once that is complete you can add some detail to his big hands and arms and then wrinkle up his pants and detail his belt. Give him a pocket and then add the sole line on his sneaker. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.
STEP 5.
