Okay so you have just got an eye full of my first tutorial right? Well keep on looking because my next drawing lesson is going to be on how to draw Bart Simpson from The Simpsons step by step. Everyone absolutely loves this crazy and outspoken character from the hit animated TV series "The Simpsons." Bart has a rude, crude attitude and he doesn’t like to take orders from anybody not even his parents. I have to say, I think the only person that Bart respects and listens to is his mother. I mean he has to! Did you ever notice how he calls her mom but refers to his father as “Homer?” Or how about when she punishes him because he did something that he shouldn’t have, he actually listens. Bart may be a runt that you would like to kick down the street until all your anger goes away, but sometimes he is very sweet, thoughtful, kind and giving. Yes I know he rarely carries those qualities, but just knowing that he has a heart is pretty sweet. Now Bart is seen always instigating fights with his sister Lisa who happens to outsmart him once in a while. Lisa and Bart are two very different characters but they are from the same family. Bart is supposed to be a ten year old kid that loves skateboarding and getting into trouble. He attends Springfield Elementary School and gives his teachers and principal a head full of white hair each and every day he attends class. His real name is Bartholomew JoJo Simpson or “Bart” for short. Did you know that The Simpsons aired on the Tracey Ullman show for three years before they made it to their own series on Fox which first aired in 1989? Yup it’s true, Bart, Homer, Marge, Lisa and little Maggie guest stared on the Tracey Ullman show before they were signed to the Fox Network in 1989. Bart is best known for his outrageous sayings that made it to print on t-shirts, bumper stickers, pins, posters, and other merchandise that can be bought and sold on the market even today. Some of my favorite Bart Simpson sayings are; don’t have a cow man, eat my shorts,and Ay carumba. My favorite quote is when he said; "all he does is lie there like an unemployed whale" (he was referring to his father Homer). No matter how you look at this character he will always remain timeless and memorable. This tutorial will show you how to draw Bart Simpson from The Simpsons step by step. I already submitted two, which means there are three more characters left on how to draw the Simpson characters. I will be back with other cool lessons so stay tuned my minions.

Okay start this first step by drawing out the outline of Bart's head and spiky hair. Once that is done you can add the facial guidelines and then the torso circle shape. Give him a neck and collar line and then a shape for his left shoulder. Once that is done you can add the lining for his shorts and then the lines for his legs and shoes.

As you can see by the time you are done with step two Bart is already taking his form. You will draw Bart a nose and then an ear. Once that is done his bottom lip should appear. Draw a line for the back of his neck and then give him an arm and hand as well as finish the lining for his shirt on the right. Draw the remaining lines to complete his legs and shoes and then proceed to step three.

Well you have made it to step three and that means you are on your last drawing step. What you will do here is draw out two circle for his eyes and give him pupils. Detail the inside of his ear and then add a brow shape to his forehead on the right hand side. Add a shirt line on his stomach and then add the detailing to his sneakers. Once you have done that you can start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.
