How to Draw a Chibi Mockingjay, Mockingjay From Hunger Games
Okay guys, I'm sure you all know that there is a new Hunger Games movie that will be coming out this next year which is 2013. So because of that, and because someone requested it, I thought it would be cute to make a lesson on "how to draw a chibi Mockingjay", step by step. You have to admit, the Mockingjay is a really smart creating because it combines two beautiful birds in one. I had a lot of fun making this tutorial, and for all you Hunger Games fans out there, I think you will love this submission too. I really don't know what to say because there isn't too much to talk about when it comes to writing about a fictional bird and emblem. Because of this I will leave you to drawing your own chibi Mockingjay. I will return with more fun for you all so stay tuned in to see what's next. Adios people and enjoy!

STEP 1.
Start by making two round shapes for the head and body of the mockingjay.
STEP 2.
You will use the shape you just made to draw out the bill or beak for y our mockingjay. When that is done draw out a large chibi style eye like so, then move along to step three.
STEP 3.
The next thing you will do is draw out the shape of the top part of the mockingjay's head, then draw out the small mini wings which are folded or expanded a bit.
STEP 4.
Now since this is a chibi style bird, the body is really small. So you will be drawing out the thighs and feet already. See how the talons or feet are cropped like it's going to take grasp of something.
STEP 5.
For your last drawing step, all you have to do is draw out the thick or wide shape of the tail, then add the tail feather lines throughout. You can start erasing your mistakes to clean things up.
STEP 6.
Here is what your mockingjay looks like when you are done. Now you can color it in using a gold colored crayon, pencil, marker or what have you.Comments: Post Comment
