Let's begin with two shapes, one for the head and the other for the body. You will attach the two with a neck guide like so.

2

The next thing you want to do is sketch out the shape of the skull in a side profile manner. The nose or snout should be drawn in bone, and there should be a horn like bone for the ear.

3

Color in the eye socket hollow like so, then you will need to draw in the teeth and the detailing on the ear.

4

Now we can work on getting the body drawn out. Do this by making the shape or arch of the back, then draw the hind leg and back paw or foot.

5

Now draw in the chest, then draw the front leg and paw.

6

Here you will draw out the other front leg and paw like so, then sketch out the pup's bone like tail. Erase the mistakes then add the toes and nails.

7

Here is your hell hound puppy when you are all done. Now you can color it in.

Description: Well folks, here is what I like to call a Hellhound puppy. I honestly don't know why I made this lesson. I think it's because either I was bored, or because someone asked me to. This should be a rather simple tutorial to tackle because the hellhound puppy is in a very simple pose. The thick chunky style body and skinless head makes learning "how to draw a hellhound puppy" that much more entertaining. At least it isn't drawn to look lanky and gruesome. Although I must say, just thinking of a puppy with no skin tissue and a skull for a head is pretty disturbing. Well, that's it. Enjoy this lesson and I will get busy with uploading another tut. Adios people and peace!
