Okay well I am back with one more drawing lesson that I think you will all like. This next tutorial was another request from a fellow artist and member and having said that, I will now show you how to draw the NASA space shuttle step by step. Now as you probably know the space shuttle is a spacecraft used by the United States Government to send astronauts on outer space missions. The actual name for the shuttle is the Space Transportation System or STS. The unit consists of one rusted colored External Tank or ET which is in the middle of the construction that the ship seems to be connected to. Along each side of the space shuttle is two white, long rectangular Solid Rocket Boosters or SRB’s and lastly you have the orbiter which is the space shuttle itself and this is what the astronauts ride in when they are orbiting through space. The space shuttle is the very first spacecraft that was designed to be reused over and over again to an extent. When I was drawing this space shuttle I wanted it to look realistic, clean and easy at the same time. Now because of that I really had to take my time to make the lines nice and straight because when drawing out this space plane you really have to make sure that the lines come out clean looking so that the shuttle is neat and easy to learn how to draw. I first had to sketch out the shuttle on paper because I had to use a ruler. Once the sketch was roughly drawn out I scanned it into the comp and redrew the whole thing all over again which was very time consuming. After everything was drawn out to my liking, I started the coloring process and again it was done in a very simple way with little shading and effects. When I was done I was very happy with the finished result because it came out very neat and clean. This lesson will show you how to draw the NASA space shuttle step by step with easy to read instructions and simple to follow steps. I know you will have an awesome time with this tutorial because I did as well. I will be back maybe later today or tomorrow with more drawing fun so keep your eyes peeled and pencils in hand ready.
