How to Draw Andy Sixx, Draw Andy Sixx Easy
So I received more than a few requests for me to make a simplified version of a figure from a very popular band. Since I love filling awesome requests, here is "how to draw Andy Sixx easy", step by step. As you know drawing Andy Sixx can be difficult because he is a very dolled up figure. His pale skin against his black hair makes a contrast that is very noticeable. Since I already did a realistic version of Andy Sixx, I'm almost at a loss for words. I don't know what to say except I know you will enjoy drawing Andy Sixx easy. STEP 1.
Okay like always when drawing a face you start with a circle shape for the face and head. Sketch in the facial guidelines and proceed on.
STEP 2.
Begin sketching out the actual shape of Andy's face like so, then draw in the strip of hair that frames his face. It should be long enough to pass his jawline and chin.
STEP 3.
Since the face is being drawn on a 3/4 view style you will need to draw in the nose in the same pose. But start with the eyebrows, then draw in the shape of his nose completely. Draw the mouth in a very simple two lined manner to make things super easy.
STEP 4.
Here I show you a grayed out version of the step to come. Notice how Andy's eyes are always in a very tired expressive look? That is how you will need to draw in his eyes in the next step.
STEP 5.
Here you will draw out his large but tired looking eyes. Sketch in some of the definition on the side of his nose near the eyebrow. Draw the marks on the face, then draw the lip ring, and chin definition.
STEP 6.
When you draw this specific hairstyle for Andy, you must remember that there is a starting point in which the hair will flow in a specific set direction. Here, I show you the basics on how the razor edged hair starts off with a small edge and that edge gradually extends in larger lengths, bigger than before until it reaches it's climatic end.
STEP 7.
Continue to draw Andy Sixx's hair style which is very long and straight except for the top side part of his head. As I just explained to you in step six, you will need to draw the spiked pieces in a nice flowing manner.
STEP 8.
Whenever I draw hair, I draw the outlines really thick and then use thinner, closer lines for the inner detailing. This will avoid the eye from becoming distracted and confused if you use excessive boldness of lines throughout your drawing.
STEP 9.
Sketch in more detailing to his hair, then let's finish things up by drawing the neck, shoulders, and lastly his tie. Add all the proper detailing to the suit and clothing. Erase your mistakes then you're done.
STEP 10.
Here is how your drawing of Andy Sixx when you're done. Now you can color him in to really make him look like a rocker.Post a comment
