How to Draw a Spider

First things first, Spiders as we all know are creepy critters that many people have phobias of. Most people don’t realize that spiders are unlikely to bite humans because they do not identify humans as prey. They typically bite because that is how they defend themselves against objects bigger then them. I personally can’t stand spiders; I think they are one of the creepiest critters on earth. You will never catch me on Fear Factor in a tube with spiders being poured all over me! No way not me, I’d rather walk away from fifty thousand dollars then have that happen. Why did I decide to make a tutorial on "how to draw a spider" then you ask? Even though I don’t like them, spiders are real simple to sketch out. I based my sketch on the Wolf Spider. I drew the web as well to make it more realistic. This is an insect that takes only a few steps to draw. I just used a regular pencil and a notebook to draw out the image. I then scanned it into my computer and colored it there. I always use Photoshop when finishing my work. I like the effects I can add and defects I can take away. When I make a tutorial all I’m doing is making each step a layer. If you use Photoshop you know what I’m talking about. Like I always say use what you have for tools.
