How to Draw a Twin Headed Dog, Dog Mutant
Hey folks, I'm back and with my return I bring to the table another mutant lesson that is sure to knock a few socks off. Up next we will explore the world of drawing a mutant dog. Someone asked me on Facebook if this was the dog from Resident Evil Afterlife. The answer to that question is no, but I can see how one would think that since both mutations have split heads with a complete set of teeth all around the mouth like the Dobermans that where in Afterlife, these are somewhat different. The funny thing is I wasn't even thinking about the mutant dogs from Resident Evil when I was drawing and creating this original concept sketch. I was actually basing the dog on my Black German Shepherd. His body is very muscular, but he is as healthy as an ox instead of being sick like the one you see here. The detailing is sort of going to be challenging for those of you that have limited drawing experience, but if you keep at it, you will find yourself successful every time. Anyways, this will be an awesome tut for anyone that likes cool, twisted stuff like this, as well as a challenge. I will leave you to drawing a twin headed dog so you can start one of your own. STEP 1.
You will begin the first step by drawing two shapes, one for the head and another for the body. Connect the two with a neck line.
STEP 2.
For the second step you will begin drawing the head which is split in two. Draw each side evenly, as well as draw in the eyes, and ears.
STEP 3.
Next, draw in the sharp teeth as well as all the detailing and definition on the face, and ears. There is a string of slim coming from the nose so be sure to add that as well.
STEP 4.
Next, start sketching out the body. It would be wise to draw the shoulder, and the back part of the dogs mutated body. The dog will also look malnourished.
STEP 5.
Begin sketching out the back part of the dog's head which is also spread or starting to rip apart. Sketch out the bony spine like so, then sketch in more mutations on the dog's messed up body. You can see all the exposed insides when you are all done with the drawings.
STEP 6.
Work on the front legs and paws. Take your time as you tackle this step because it's very important that you add definition to the limbs like you see them here. Draw the muscle detailing, then draw the sunken in ribs like so.
STEP 7.
Now you can get started with the back part of the body. Draw the bony back bone, as well as the hip and thighs. Sketch out the skinny stomach as well as the rest of the bones or ribs that are showing.
STEP 8.
Here you will be finishing things off. Draw the rest of the back part of the legs, as well as the paws. The nails and definition should also be added before you start erasing the mistakes.
STEP 9.
Here is what your finished drawing looks like when you are all done. Choose some nice shades to color in your beast, then upload your finished work.Comments: Post Comment
