How To Draw A Human Skull

First as you can see start off by drawing the shape of a head.

Then add the framework for the eyes, nose, and mouth. It almost looks like a jack-o-lantern.

Start shaping the nose to look boney and make the outlines for the teeth.

As you can see the image is starting to look like a skull. What you do on this step is add the jaw line and define the teeth more.

Now make the cheek bones more prominent by giving it a boney feel.

Add more details to the brow line and a little more detail to the jaw. This skull looks a little scary in this stage.

What we do here is add the bone lines to the top teeth. This skull really is starting to take form.

Here is the finished work. I gave the eyes a bit more character. The teeth came out cool. Once it's colored it will look even better.

Description: Skulls, this is an object that has gotten a lot of attention in the past 10 years or so. When I came to realize that skulls were in practically every piece of clothing made, jewelry sold, movies created, the more I knew that fashion and people were becoming more out spoken on who they are as individuals. In this tutorial I wanted to create an image that described what a skull really is, the framework for the head. As you know our skull is part of the human anatomy, it holds the structure of our face and protects our brain against injuries. Here is an interesting fact to know about the human skull; it is made up of 22 bones, and also contains our sinus cavities that are filled with air and lined with respiratory epithelium. In this tutorial I show you how to draw the human skull in a very simple easy to learn way. Once you start your drawing you will see that the skull is really not that difficult to draw. My drawing was finished off in Photoshop that is why it has that odd coloring going on. I had a lot of fun when I sketched out this skull because I kinda used my own head as a guide. You can even color the skull or put some cool flames around the skull (which is a popular image) how ever you want to finish it off after all it’s your sketch.
