How to Draw a Baboon for Kids

Step 1.

Begin your drawing step by making a circle for the baboon's head. You will then add a V lined shape on the forehead as well.

Step 2.

Next, using the facial guides, begin drawing out the shapes of the eyes like so. from the eyes draw the long snout that should square at the tip. Make the bloated looking cheeks, then proceed to step three.

Step 3.

Draw out the rest of the baboon's head by sketching out the long messy hair. Add the definition lines or marks on the swollen cheeks, then draw the nostrils and mouth.

Step 4.

This baboon is going to be on all fours instead of standing up picking at something. Draw the chest, then draw the front legs as well as the feet or hands.

Step 5.

Lastly, draw in a curved lined back as well as the butt cheeks, back legs, and hind feet. Clean up the drawing like so, then you are all done.

Step 6.

Your baboon came out looking great. Now you're ready to start adding some color to bring this monkey to life.
