The first step is a side profile of this guy so let's get started. Draw a circle for the head guide. Begin sketching out his hair bangs first, then draw in the side chunk of the hairstyle. You will then draw the profile of his face which is basically

Now let's draw L from the front view. Again, draw a circle for the head and then sketch in the facial guideline.

You will now start the drawing process of L's hair. Start with a mess of bangs that are long enough to fall in front of his face or a little past his eyes. Sketch in more of his hair in a bushy manner like you see here.

Description: I just couldn't go without making a lesson on another important figure from Death Note that almost EVERYONE who are fans love from the series. He is the main investigator as well as one of the weirdest figures from Death Note. I present to you "how to draw L Lawliet easy", step by step. L was one of the first manga characters that I used to practice on when I would draw manga. One of the reasons why I did so well with drawing L at such a young age, is because he was my ultimate favorite figure from the manga and anime. His dark creepy style along with how quite and unusual he was almost made me feel like I could relate to him. Of course those days of me feeling like that is long gone as my days of labeling myself 'Gothic' is pretty much non-existing. Anyways, this is going to be a super fun lesson for anyone that loves Death Note. I will be back with two more tuts for you all so stay tuned in. It's always a fun drawing day on Dragoart.com.
