How to Draw Virizion, Pokemon
When was the last time I made a tutorial based on a Pokemon character? If I remember correctly I haven't done any lessons on Pokemon in some time now so I feel like I need to do at least one, but not get carried away and make forty. So here is my last step by step lesson for the day and it's on "how to draw Virizion", step by step. This slender, feminine looking Pokemon is very dainty looking as well as majestic. Virizion is among the four Pokemon that are members of the legendary musketters. The legendary musketeers are made up of four Pokemon; Cobalion, Terrakion, Keldeo, and of course Virizion. All of these Pokemon are based on the Three Musketeers novel and they all share the 'Justified' ability as well as other fighting type abilities. Virizion's role as a musketeer is supposed to represent Aramis, who is in the book a very romantic, feminine figure even though the real Aramis is a male in Alexandre Dumas's book. Anyways, now that I told you what the legendary musketeers are, it's time to get back to talking about Virizion. As you can tell by this Pokemon's appearance, it seems to look very much like a deer or antelope even. They are green in color with shades of pink on the collar, as well as on the tops of each leg boot. The face, belly, and thighs are a lighter shade of green, but all the colors compliment one another perfectly. Even though these Pokemon look female, they are actually genderless which means there is no male or female. Now just because Virizions look harmful, they really don't like humans which is why they like to stay hidden in the forest where they live. If you want to go looking for a Virizion, you might want to go trollop around the Pinwheel Forest and start your search there. Other than that, this is going to be a moderatley simple Pokemon to draw, so you should be okay when you decided you want to tackle the task of drawing Virizion. I don't have any more to say except have fun, and let the games begin!

STEP 1.
Begin with two shapes, one for the head and the other for the torso. Connect the two lines to form a neck guide, then sketch in a facial guide.
STEP 2.
Start this step by drawing out the triangular shape for the head formation like so, then make sure that the ends of the head shape curl in. Draw the lining for the neck, then make the shape of the chest.
STEP 3.
You will continue to draw the head by drawing the back of the head which will also form the neck. Continue the lining which will then form the back, as well as the tuft end that sort of looks like a feathery tail. Draw the two small pods on each side of the Pokemon's neck, then you are ready to draw in the face.
STEP 4.
You are already almost done with this lesson. You will now have to draw the back leg as well as the stomach, then draw the front legs which also should have the feathers on the elbow part of the legs. Notice how the legs form points instead of flat hooves.
STEP 5.
Lastly, draw the other hind leg, then add the cuffs on each limb midway up the leg. You will also need to draw in the design pattern on the hooves, and chest. Erase any mistakes you may have made to clean up the drawing freeing it from debris.
STEP 6.
Now that you're done, you should end up with a drawing that looks like the one you see here. Now you can color in this Pokemon to look like the original version.Post a comment
