I have done a few tutorials on one or some of the figures from the anime/manga Elfen Lied. One of my favorite characters is Lucy, and I think it's because of her character style and personality. Today I will show you "how to draw Nana", step by step to add to the Elfen Lied character tutorial list. Nana is also known as Number 7 and in the series she has the appearance of a middle aged teen rather then being a six or seven year old little girl. She is a Silpelit, and if you have read the manga, it explains why Nana looks so old when she is really a young girl. Supposedly Silpelits aging process is much more rapid than that of a human. Her name in Japanese literally means number seven which is why she is called either Nana, or Number 7. It is the research facility that labeled her, and even though she was kept alive as an infant to be a test subject, Nana is lucky to be breathing at all. In the manga almost all Diclonius born babies are automatically killed, but since Nana was one of those babies that was kept alive, I guess you could say she was given another chance at life which is why she is also one of the main protagonist of the series. I had fun drawing Nana, and if you are a fan of Elfen Lied, you should too. Her bright face and kind personality makes her one of the funnest female lead characters to recreate. Well have fun folks and remember to rate, comment, and fav. Peace and enjoy!
