Let's start by drawing a circle shape for his head, and then add the facial guideline.

The next thing we will work on is getting the hat drawn out. D's hat is very slender and points at the tips. Draw the hat in like so, then move along to step three.

Now that the hat is all drawn in, we can tackle the task of getting his face shape drawn out. As you can see we will be drawing D from a 3/4 angle. You will need to sketch out the left side of the face, and then instead of drawing the right side, jus

Okay guys we are already almost done. As you can see all you have to do here is draw out the wide shape of the eyes, which are also very piercing and relaxed. Draw in more of his curls for the hair, and then add detailing to his eyes by sketching in

For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw more of the hat's lid, then finish drawing out his long curly locks. Add detailing inside of his ear, then sketch in the individual strand lines for hair definition. Erase any mistakes you may have

Description: Hey folks, how's it going on this wondefully sunny, warm Friday afternoon? Hopefully you are enjoying the weather, but I have a feeling that some of you are still at school. Nonetheless, you can still enjoy the weather, and todays tutorial line-up. I will kick things off by teaching you guys "how to draw D from Vampir Hunter D", step by step. He is the main character in the anime, and manga, but in the beginning this story was first a novel. Vampire Hunter D started as a series of novels beginning in 1983. Since then, Vampire Hunter D has turned into a manga, anime, and audio drama series. I myself am not familiar with the story at all, but I can still tell you what it's about. As I said in the beginning, the main figure in the series is D who is what you call a dhampir, which is a nice made up word for a half human half vampire being. When I read the about the character all I could think about is Blade mixed with Van Helsing. I incorporated Blade with my thoughts because he too was half human and half vampire who slayed vampires for a living. When I imagined Van Hesling as I read the bio of D, I thought the appearance of both characters where somewhat similar, and they also both slay vampires. The tutorial is going to be super fun because I made sure to lay out the lesson in an easy to follow manner. I'm sure there are plenty of you that are familiar with Vampire Hunter D, as well as the character D. Well, that's about it, have fun with drawing D and I will get busy uploading more tuts. Peace out people!
