I only made three tulip blooms, but you can add as many as you want. Start the first step by making three oval shapes for the blooms.

2

You will now draw the wrap that the flowers will sit in. The reason why we are drawing the wrap first, is because the flowers need to be held within this paper. Make sure that there is crinkling at the bottom.

3

Thicken the shapes of the tulips like so, and add the petal slits.

4

Draw in the stems and then add some nice long leaf blades. You will also need to draw the wrap line behind the stems of the flowers.

5

Lastly, draw the rest of the selefon wrap like so, and then make sure to add that elastic band which closes the wrap on the flowers. Clean up the drawing like so.

6

Here is what the drawing looks like as a whole. Now you can color in your bouquet to perfection before you give it to mom.

Description: I received a few requests for me to make a tutorial that had something to do with Mother's Day. Now since mothers are considered the root of all families, I decided that it would be nice to make a lesson on what was asked of me. So today we will be learning "how to draw Mothers Day flowers", step by step. One of the main things that mothers get for their special day is a bouquet of flowers. They come in any style which is usually picked out by the individual getting the flowers. Some mothers have favorite flowers like roses, orchids, lilies, and even carnations. I chose to make a simple bouquet of tulips because that is my mother's favorite flower. Drawing Mother's Day flowers is going to be super fun because you can add any type of bloom you want. Since tulips are not normally long stem flowers, the paper that they are wrapped in is closed off at the end. If you plan on drawing roses, or anything else that has long stems, all you have to do is draw the stems from the bottom of the wrap. I guess I said enough, Mother's Day is tomorrow which is May 13th. Have a wonderful Mother's Day, and remember to write "I love you mom" inside of your cards.
