How to Draw a Triangle
So for my next lesson here on Drago, I will be showing you "how to draw a triangle", step by step. Now, the dots I present within this tut are very important. Make sure, as you pinpoint the dots on your paper, to measure the diagonal dots equally to each side. We don't want one side of the triangle to look lopsided, do we? I've been using this dot system for a very long time, since my first art class in school. It will truly improve the way you draw lines in general, enhancing your overall skill as an artist. STEP 1.
Use your ruler to make three even dots which will act as your starting guide to drawing the triangle.
STEP 2.
When all the points or dots are drawn, the space between them (all three sides) should be equal in length.
STEP 3.
Begin at the bottom and draw a line from one point to the other using a ruler. This line should be straight, and not exceed past the two points.
STEP 4.
Next, draw each side of the triangle using the ruler once again. Remember not to draw past the points or your lines will not be equal on all three sides.
STEP 5.
Here is your finished triangle. Now you can draw a perfect triangle from scratch.Comments: Post Comment

Hey now don't be rude. Some people really do have trouble with these kinds of things. It may teach someone. Especially the beginners. You have to plan ahead, even with the simplest of shapes

I think that it's supposed to teach you to use equal lengths and to plan ahead with the dots, than for the sake of the triangle. But yeah, I thought the same thing at first.
