How to Draw Superman
It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s Superman! In this tutorial I will be showing you "how to draw Superman", step by step which is one of America’s favorite super heroes. Created in 1932 by a writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster, Superman was sold to D.C Comics. In 1938 Superman made his first appearance in Action Comics #1 as well as various radio, television, and movie spots. Superman is one of my favorite heroes and I thought to myself I should make a tutorial on how to draw him. I did first sketch him out on a sheet of sketching paper and used a regular sketch pencil. I gave superman a modern look as we all see him now in cartoons, appose to the earlier images of this boy wonder. He may look hard to draw but really, it’s pretty simple. Drawing superman has a lot of line work that you will see in this tutorial, but if you have a steady hand and some patience you should be able to pull it off just fine. Remember make him look good because as you know Clark Kent and Superman have a crush on the same girl, Louis Lane and we all know who she wants more. You can give him a back ground if you like that is totally up to you, I added some color. Well have fun drawing this chiseled stud from krypton, and remember the more muscle the better. I promise that learning "how to draw Superman" is going to be a lot funner than you think.

STEP 1.
First lets start out with simple lines. A circle for his head and a square for his jaw line.
STEP 2.
Now, lets move onto the body. Make lining that resembles a smile which will be his top half and follow the shaping for the bottom half.
STEP 3.
We can move onto making the lining for his legs, suave hair style and also the lining for his cape. When you draw the lining for his hair, his face takes form.
STEP 4.
Clean up some line work and move onto defying his legs more and add that little swivel that will later on be his arm getting ready to attack.
STEP 5.
Look at that we're half way done. Now you can move to his beautiful biceps look at that muscle.
STEP 6.
See how his hand is shaped in the back. Make the lining resemble a fist in the lower arm and for now make his left hand resemble a boxing glove.
STEP 7.
Add his charming eyes and brows. His manly clef on his chin, draw his nose and mouth too. You also want too start adding the chest muscles and the bone lines for his neck.
STEP 8.
Almost done. Make his famous diamond shaped symbol on his chest and add a little more detailing to his cape and what looks like underpants.
STEP 9.
Follow the lining work above to form his hand, belt, cape and S symbol.
STEP 10.
That's it your done! That wasn't so hard right. Like I said it was a lot of line art to drawing superman but in the end he came out pretty handsome.Comments: Post Comment
