Reynolds is known for playing the role of Michael Bergen on ABC's sitcom Two Guys and a Girl (1998–2001), Wade Wilson of Deadpool in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine", and Hal Jordan of Green Lantern in "Green Lantern." He has also appeared in films such as National Lampoon's Van Wilder, "Just Friends, Definitely, Maybe", "The Proposal", "The Change-Up", and "Safe House."
