Nate Ruess (February 26, 1982) is an American indie/indie pop singer-songwriter from Arizona. Nate was the singer of "The Format" and currently lead vocalist of the band "Fun". His vocal style has been praised for its "unreachable moments of vivid theatricality to the most raw intensities", resembling that of Tracy Chapman or Freddie Mercury from Queen.
