how to draw anime eyes step 1

STEP 1.

First I will give you a few tips to show some info on what we are drawing. Here we have four eyes, all differing in shape and size. Chibi is largest, as chibis are usually small in size with huge eyes that stand out.Female anime eyes are round, have thicker eyelashes and circular pupils. Male eyes are moderately thin, with medium sized pupils and a strong silent look about them. Evil eyes are thin, the pupils are thin, red and snake like, and sometimes have wrinkles or creases around them. These don't have any.

STEP 2.

Now we start to draw our eyes that were described in the previous step. Please note these are only the right hand side eyes. Evil: Just draw the slanted top Chibi: draw a round oval with a large opening Female: Draw a slightly slanted top of the eye Male: draw the top of the eye, longer and less slanted than evil and female.

Cool! That's helpful with drawing anime...unless of course you hide their eyes behind their hair, in which case you don't have to worry about drawing their eyes...lol! I know, I'm dumb! lol Nice tut, overall!

Btw, these are all my unique eyes, I just mixed and matched my knowledge of manga and created these eyes. Evil was made on da spot XD I did experiment and try on my own, I have seen as many pics of manga as I can, and consulted tutorials here on drago. Eyes were one of my greatest hurdles. I am better on paper anyway.meowla

I knew I would get sumthin like dis and I understand. I am not the anime master, but I try to show what I can do. This is not really my full potential, I was exited because of my new tablet and had to dish it out by making some tuts on gimp, and they were a bit rushed, I was doing about three a day, so dont mind it if my tuts are a bit dodgy. I will improve when I find out more secrets of gimp and unearth a few better programs. So dont mind my dodgy work smile
