In the movie, played amazingly by Elizabeth Banks, she carries out such tasks as drawing the tributes' names at the reaping and escorting them to the Capitol. The pictures of Effie is modeled by Elizabeth. In the movie, there is a lot of makeup on Elizabeth Banks to give Effie that mature look.
