The inspiration for this next tutorial came from my eight year old sister. She came home from school on Friday with a book that was all about komodo dragons. She was so excited to show me the book because she leaned that the komodo dragon is one of the oldest living reptiles in existence, and because this animal has the name "dragon" in it's title. All the pictures in the book where really hard for her to even replicate and since the komodo dragon lessons I have on the site are a little too difficult for her to follow, I had to make her a lesson that she could tackle all by herself and feel proud of it. So here is "how to draw a komodo dragon for kids", step by step. A lot of the tutorials on Dragoart that are in the 'for kids' section are mainly created for my sister as well as members. She too is an aspiring artist, and for an eight year old she is quite good. I will have to upload one of her drawings into my profile for her so you guys can check it out. Anyways, I have always liked the komodo dragon because of it's massive size, strength, and look. This is one of those lessons where I enjoyed making so much, I had to tell everyone to come see it when I was done. Now it's your turn to tackle drawing a komodo dragon for kids so you can get on the right track to becoming an artist, or better artist too. Have fun people and be sure to leave comments, and rating to let folks know what you think. Adios mi amigos and enjoy!
