To my amazement I have never made a tutorial based on one of the simplest things that has everything to do with dragons. I had so much fun with the concept of this first tutorial of the day which is ">em>how to draw a dragon egg", step by step. I was going to do a basic egg that looked like a regular shell design with added texture on the surface, but then I thought, nah that would be too boring. Someone suggested that I make a lesson based on a dragon egg with the actual baby dragon growing inside of the shell in the form of an embryo. For a reference I looked up actual baby embryo pictures on the web to get a good idea on how I should make my dragon embryo. One of the classic images I found was actually a picture I remember my mother looking at when she was pregnant with my now sixteen year old brother. It shows a baby in the four month stage with the hand up to its face in a thumb sucking pose. The membrane lite background made the picture even more powerful, so I used that idea to create what I call a dragon egg. I do believe that you will enjoy this lesson because it is of a dragon in its purest form. I will return with some other cool stuff but for now, have fun drawing a dragon egg.
