How to Draw Chibi Link
Now that I submitted my first tutorial on an anime lion, it is now time to fill a request that was made a few days ago. A member that I was chatting with asked if I could show him/her how to draw chibi Link step by step. So naturally being a friendly and kind person that i am, I decided that I would fill that request. I wanted to make my Chibi Link a little different by adding a pointed tooth and a bit of blood running down the edges of his mouth. This blood is from the fish that he just took a bite out of when he went fishing. I also included his spirit in the upper right hand corner because as you know Link doesn’t go anywhere without his spirit. Chibi Link came out cute and mean at the same time. Even though Link isn’t mean I just had to give him a mean streak just to add a little character. In this tutorial you will learn how to draw Chibi Link step by step. All the steps are easy to follow and the instructions are simple to understand and read. This drawing lesson is so easy; which means you will be drawing your own Chibi Link in no time at all. Well it is time for me to go and upload the rest of my tutorials that I have made for you all. Hopefully you will like what the outcome is. STEP 1.
Okay you will start this first step by drawing out the guidelines and shapes to form a nice frame for Chibi Link. Start with a round circle for the head and then add the facial guidelines. You will them draw out the shape of his jaw and chin. Next, draw out the box like shape of his torso and then add the limb guidelines and shapes as shown.
STEP 2.
In this next step you will be drawing out the beginning lining of his hat which he is pulling on, and then you can start shaping out the left and right arm as shown. You will then draw out the lining for his eyes and then start drawing out the sword and strap that goes across his chest which holds the sword. You will then draw out the left shape of the legs and foot as shown.
STEP 3.
How are you doing so far? I Think you are doing great. What you will do know is draw out the back of his hat and then his elf like ear. Thicken the lining of his eyes and then add a hint of an eyebrow. Once that is done you can sketch in the thick line on his eye and then shape out his sleeves and arms. Draw out the style of his belt and then detail his left boot and draw out the shape of the fishes body.
STEP 4.
Now that you are almost half way done you will start drawing out the lining of his mouth and add the wrinkle lines on his hat. sketch out more of his hair style and then add the lining for his collar. Once that is complete you will draw out the belt strap on his chest that holds his sword. Sketch in more detail on his boots and then his arms.
STEP 5.
You have now reached step five and what you will do here is finish drawing out the lining of his hair style and then the actual shape of his big round eyes. You will add his pupil and then the little circle in the upper left corner of his right eye to express the glossy look. Add the notches in his belt as well as his sword strap. You will then draw out the rest of the fishes body and add a bite mark on his belly. Draw out the shape of his shield and then detail his boots some more.
STEP 6.
Well guess what you have done? Yup, you have made it to your last drawing step. What you will do here is detail his eyebrow and then add some definition to his nose. Draw out the lining for his open mouth and then give him one small tooth. Draw out the rest of the shape of his shield and then detail the eaten fish that Chibi Link is holding. Add the detailing on his sword and start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.
STEP 7.
When you are done your Chibi should look like the one you see here. All you have to do now is color him in and you are done. You have just finished this tutorial on how to draw Chibi Link step by step. I hope you enjoyed it.Post a comment
