Okay are you ready for some fun or what? Lets start this step by drawing out some basic shapes and lines to form a frame for the frog. Start by drawing out an oval like shape for the head and then add the facial guidelines. You will than make a circl

Welcome to step two. In this next step you will start drawing out the actual shape of the frogs head and then draw a small egg shape for his bulging eyes. When you are done with that you can start drawing out the front and back shapes of the legs. Yo

In this step you will start detailing the top part of the body and around the eyes as seen here. What these lines will do is add definition and dimension to the frogs face. Once that is done you can go ahead and start coloring in the eyes and nostril

You have finally made it to the last drawing step. What you will do now is add all the spots that are randomly scattered on the body. You will then add the definition lines around the pupil of the eye and add some more toes on his feet. Erase all the

Description: Welcome back to DragoArt.com members and visitors from around the world. This is another drawing lesson for you all that I think you might enjoy. I was actually supposed to upload this tutorial yesterday but I unwillingly fell asleep. This lesson that I will be submitting right now is going to be on how to draw a frog. The frog that I chose to draw is very colorful and unique because I wanted to gear it toward kids. The coloring method I used was to make it look like a cartoon frog but I let the creative side of me take over. When learning how to draw a frog you have to remember that frogs are amphibians and because of that they look odd. When they look odd they are kind of odd to draw. A frog is all head and legs; there really isn’t some complicated part of a frog to draw besides the feet. The image I used for a reference was from a tropical frog called a red eyed tree frog. Now these frogs are normally green and blue in color with bright orange webbed feet. Of course I am not going to color my frog green and blue instead I colored his whole top body red and made his legs and feet blue. I used vivid colors so that the frog would appeal to younger kids as well as kids my age (which is sixteen). I broke down the steps so that the frog is relatively simple to draw. A fun fact about the red eyed tree frog is despite their bold bright color, these amphibians are not at all venomous. They use their color to ward off any predators that may want to feast on their delicate bodies. This tutorial will show you how to draw a frog step by step. You can either consider it a cartoon frog or you can consider this frog to be my version of the red eyed tree frog. I will be back later with some more cool drawing tutorials for you all. I am just going to take a brief break and then I will be back to upload the rest of my work.
