After doing that lesson on the lily for kids, I wanted to make a more life like version of the calla lily since it is one of my favorite flowers. Anyways, the lily is in an actual vase, and I noticed once the drawing and coloring was done, that the surface the vase is resting on is cushioned or blanket like. I was like “omg how dense am I”? As you all know a vase cannot sit on a blanket or cushion steadily without falling over. The vase is a round design, although I did want to draw a tall, boxy shaped vase but for some odd reason I wasn't thinking clearly and this is what I produced instead. Calla lilies are known for their beautiful for their sleek, slender design as well as their simplicity. If I had my own way, I would have these flowers all over my house. I also love the bamboo shoots too, but they are sort of expensive for my taste, and they are really just green stalks wedged in a solid foundation. Anyways, this should be a fun lesson to tackle. I mean after all, you are drawing a lily , and as you know lilies are always fun to recreate especially calla lilies. Well I guess that's about it. I will leave you now so you can get to work on another drawing. I shall return because I still have at least one more lesson coming your way. I hope you enjoy this submission as much as I did drawing it.
