Hello again ! I bring you something unusual and I bet you didn't expect this, one of the greatest Marvel heroes of all times , The Amazing Spierman .For years he has been my favorite Marvel hero and even though Iron Man has taken his place , he'll always have a place deep down inside, love ya Spidey ! This tutorial will guide you (successfully I hope) through the process of drawing Spidey in his symbiote suit . Take your time, this took a lot of time for me, so it's gonna take you a lot more .

STEP 1.
Begin with a simple sketch. Remember, use a sharp pencil for this.
STEP 2.
Your sketch should look like this , if it doesn't , try to repair it, the sketch is the base of the whole drawing, if the sketch doesn't look good, neither will the drawing, .
STEP 3.
Things got difficult here, but I thought of an easy way to draw his web model , and it was actually really easy . On the 2nd image you'll have to zoom on the head, my scanner didn't get the lines there. What you don't need to do is press hard with your pencil , you'll seen in the next step why.
STEP 4.
Just a simple way to drawing the white web model on the black suit. After toning, use a sharp eraser to make the model on the gray background (although I recommend using and electric eraser). This is why i asked you not to press very hard, so it'll be easy to erase the black lines .
STEP 5.
Now that the fun is over, here comes hell. Use the technique I have showed you in the previous step to make his head. First tone, erase, tone some more .
STEP 6.
Continue filling the spaces between the web model. For the eye, just zoom and try to cop what i did there, because I simply have no idea how to explain that.
STEP 7.
Nothing special here, use the same technique you used for the head. For the suit texture I made some random dots.
STEP 8.
Those parts are pitch black, you go do that , c'mon it's not hard .
STEP 9.
Next we are (well actually only you because I have already done it :P) going to do the chest area. This will be hard because I will not be able do guide you here, because of the light , reflection and point of view, it was hard for me to figure out what was happening there, so I just copied the model
STEP 10.
Using a circular motion, slowly shade teh leg , down to his boot .
STEP 11.
First boot .Again, make the web design like I showed you, it's just a matter of time , and patience .
STEP 12.
When drawing the other hand, use a very sharp pencil, it's got a lot of small details .
STEP 13.
Same technique, different leg.You're finished with Spidey ,all you have to do now is the background , which is a real pain.
STEP 14.
Now the background. Start with toning, actually it's only toning, tone until you get what I got, use darker and darker pencils . If you made it this far, you're awesome !Comments: Post Comment
