Step 1How to Draw Wolf Pups, Wolf Puppies
So last night's stream and the night before, I had a few avid requesters asking me to do a tutorial on two cute puppies. Of course, the 'puppies' in which we'll be drawing are wolf pups. I wanted a simplistic yet intriguing style for the novices, but also, a bit realistic in order to capture the true nature of these pups. Before, I had solid black eyes, but revisiting it after I finished my other five tuts, I realized, "hey, this doesn't look entirely like wolves, but chow chow puppies". With that, I made the eyes very similar to puppies of wolves, by making them golden yellow. I had so much fun with this lesson, especially painting the background to give these cuties a magical and enchanting setting. The autumn leaves add a nice – tranquil feel, while the actions of two wolf puppies playing total the overall piece.
