How to Draw Chibi Thor
I’m trying to create and upload chibi tutorials on all the heroes and villains from the upcoming movie ‘The Avengers’. I already have chibis on the Hulk, Iron Man, and Captain America. Today I will be showing you "how to draw chibi Thor", step by step and I think you will all like this version of Thor. I wanted to keep the characteristics of Thor, but keep the cuteness at the same time. I still have a handful of Avengers characters to turn into chibi form, but I’m sure I will get around to that soon. Anyways, this tutorial is going to not only be sure fun, but it will also be exciting and a bit easy. Drawing chibi characters can sometimes be difficult because of the amount of detailing and lining. That is why it’s important to take your time when you tackle a lesson that you might think is above your skill level. Everyone should try all the tutorials on Dragoart, even if they seem too hard for you to replicate. STEP 1.
Here you will be drawing chibi Thor. It is important that you take your time, and have all the tools needed to help you complete this tutorial. Let us begin by making a head and body guide like so.
STEP 2.
Next, using the shape you just made in step one, draw the shape of chibi Thor's helmet which rings the top of the head. Draw in the wings on both sides, and then draw the shape of the iron hammer on the right side which covers the cheek.
STEP 3.
Thicken the lining for the lower part of the face, and then draw in chibi Thor's eyes, and some of the hair which are in strands on the sides of his face and or head.
STEP 4.
As you can see chibi Thor is coming along nicely. The only thing you have to do here is draw the torso, and then draw in the arms, hands, and hammer handle. Add detailing and definition like so, then move to step five.
STEP 5.
Cap off chibi Thor's long locks like so and be sure to add a couple notches for detailing. Next, draw his legs and then the boots.
STEP 6.
You will now draw chibi Thor's cape and be sure to take your time so it comes out nice and massive. Add some crease or wrinkle detailing, then draw the bottom of the cape using a wavy stroke.
STEP 7.
For your last drawing step you will add in all the bells and whistles which translates to detailing and definition. Draw a rim around the helmet, feather strips on the wings, hair definition, and then draw the lining which will create his crotch cloth. Make the definition or detailing on his chest, legs, mallet and boots. When you are done you can start cleaning up the mistakes.
STEP 8.
This is Thor turned into a chibi. I hope you had fun, be sure to use the proper colors to add some life and excitement to this superhero god.Comments: Post Comment

Wait, why can't she make a chibi version (or an anime version in general) of Loki? They are her tutorials, if you don't like them, you don't have to look at them. Personally, I think a chibi Loki would be absolutely adorable.
