How to Draw Human Blaze, Anime Blaze the Cat
So last night I've read over the comments I've gotten on my recent tutorials. A few people have suggested that I do a drawing tutorial on "how to draw anime human Blaze the Cat", step by step from Sonic. This character has a very weird design and I wanted to integrate her first name with a background full of fire. The purples definitely make her stand out and I really liked the result overall. Be sure to prepare yourself with a pencil, paper, and eraser in order to complete the entire tutorial. Note that drawing perfect guidelines are advised but not necessary, depending on your skill-set. Anyways, I must be going to submit the rest of my lessons. Thanks so much for viewing and have fun!

STEP 1.
Begin this lesson by drawing some basic guides and shapes to form a workable frame for your humanized Sonic character. Start by making a circle for the head, and from that shape, draw the guidelines for the shoulders, arms, and torso. Make a shape for the pelvic area, as well as small circles for her hands.
STEP 2.
For your second drawing step, all you have to do is draw out the structure of her face shape, and then start sketching out Blaze's hairstyle which is parted and short. There should also be some strand chunks as well.
STEP 3.
Using the face guide, draw in her eyes and be sure to make the top lids very thick and or bold like you see here. The lashes should also be thick and long, but the eyebrows are sort of thin. Color in her pupils, and then draw a jewel on her forehead as well as her nose and mouth. Sketch in a part line in the middle of her head, and then sketch in the actual hairline. Before leaving this step you will need to draw in her peacock ponytail as well as the elastic band that is wrapped around her head.
STEP 4.
You are ready to draw out her upper body. Start with the shape of her neck, and then draw the shoulders, arms and or sleeves, as well as her chest or breast. The ends of her sleeves should have notched like you see here. Be sure that there is also creases and wrinkles at the folds of her arms.
STEP 5.
All you need to do here is draw in the fluffy cuffs of her shirt like so, and then draw in her hands. As you can see the hands are in an action making pose.
STEP 6.
Continue to work on her torso and or clothing. You will need to draw in her back as well as her waist line and hips. Draw the length of her jacket or shirt, and then add some trim along the edge of the material. Make a seam line vertically down her chest, and then draw the collar as well as the pattern for it.
STEP 7.
Start this seventh step by drawing out one of her legs. Start with the top part of Blaze's thigh, and then continue until her entire leg is formed in a bent action manner. Add some knee detailing as well as a dimple, and then draw the undergarment line on her butt.
STEP 8.
Next, draw the fluffy fuzz around her ankle and then draw out her foot in the form of a heeled boot. Sketch in the pattern on her boot like so, and then draw in her heel.
STEP 9.
For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw in the other leg as well as the boot. Lastly, draw the rest of her cloak and or jacket and then start erasing the mistakes and guides you made along the way.
STEP 10.
That's it, you are all done. Color in Blaze to perfection and add her to your human Sonic character collection.Comments: Post Comment
