This is going to be the last animal lesson for the day so I hope you enjoy it. I know some folks have these little critters for pets and I can totally see why. After reading about this animal species I was surprised to find that I had never made a tutorial on it before. So without further delay, here is a lesson on "how to draw a sugar glider", step by step. If these animals are owned by people all over the world, where do they come from? To start off let me explain what a sugar glider is. They are very small nocturnal animals that are native to Australia. Yes, they are a marsupial which explains why their tails resemble that of a kangaroo. Just because these animals are small, that doesn't mean they cost the same as a hamster. Sugar gliders can be expensive to own as well as care for. In the wild sugar gliders live in treetops and from the trees they use the night time hours to do all their hunting. They will glide from tree to tree in search of food, and they also spend lots of time up there as well. Now when you own a sugar glider, you have to buy an actual habitat which is called an aviary. Their food has to come in the form of grubs, mealworms, crickets, and other insects that normally scare me. Even though I think these animals are cute, I honestly don’t know why someone would want one as a pet. They sound like they are expensive to care for and tend to. I will stick to the easy stuff by drawing a sugar glider instead. You can follow this tutorial to create your own pet on paper if you like, or you can choose to pass. I personally think you would be making a mistake if you pass up this lesson because they are still a fun species to tackle. Well thanks for joining me with another fun tutorial. I shall return because there is still two more submissions that has to go up.
