1

Begin with drawing a small bean like shape that is thick lined and dark. This is going to be for the O.

2

Next, draw in the N letter in a grungy manner. Make sure that the n is overlapping the O on the left side of the letter.

3

You are already almost done with your letter design. For the third letter you will be making a cross for the T. Notice how the end of the letter squiggles down a bit and points at the end.

4

Now for the last drawing step you will simply draw the W the same way you did all the rest of the letters. If there is any mistakes make sure you fix it before finalizing the drawing. Also make sure that the letters are bold, and thick.

5

Here is what the four letters look like when you are all done. You can use the pattern on your book cover or anything else where you want to display your faith. Great work guys.

Description: I was reading the comments that are on the Icelandic sheepdog and a member named ‘bluestar4ever’ asked if I could make a tutorial on "how to draw NOTW", step by step. NOTW is short for ‘Not of This World’ and it is an apparel company that makes clothes for young Christian youth. It was founded back in 2001 by a fellow named Aurelio F. Barreto III. The logo or NOTW letters make a great design for tee shirts and other appeal, but that is not the only reason why kids love NOTW. The four letters actually stand for the phrase ‘not of this world’ from the biblical gospel of John. If you are a Christian and you follow the good book, you should be familiar with the writings of John the Baptist. The phrase stands for what John talks about in 17:14 through 17; he says “I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth”. I’m really quite pleased that someone asked for a lesson that has something to do with a verse from the Bible. I did have fun making this tutorial and if you are familiar with NOTW, you will have a blast with it too. I still have more fun coming your way so stay tuned in my minions to see what pops up next.
