Description: Hello all and Happy Halloween. Today is an extra fun day because we are running around the streets outside knocking on doors asking for candy by saying “trick or treat”! I love Halloween, I love it so much I did some more scary characters from different movies that are rented or bought on this Halloween day. This first character is a well known character from a movie that takes place in Texas. He uses a chainsaw as his weapon of choice and after his victims are slaughtered, he gives them a face lift, literally. So right now I will be showing "how to draw Leatherface", from Texas Chainsaw Massacre step by step. Now did you ever notice at the opening credits of the film it always says “based on a true story”. But I wonder, “How much of the story is true”? I decided to do my own research a while back probably when I first seen the film when I was fourteen. What I found out was; Leatherface in the movie was a depiction of the real murderer named Ed Gein. The house that they used in the film very much resembled the real house owned by Gein and this is where he took his victims. During the years of 1954 through 1957, this demented psycho path murdered several victims to that same creepy white house. Did the real Ed Gein ever wear a human's face as a mask like Leatherface did in the movie you ask? The answer to that question is yes he did. Mr. Gein used to use the scalp and face from his victims as well as their torso skin to make a suit that would allow him to look like a woman. Almost like the guy from Silence of the Lambs. Unlike Leatherface, Ed Gein did not have any kind of skin condition; he was just a sick man when he made these skin suits, they looked like a vest of skin with breasts and female genitalia which he wore on top of his own body. Another question that most people asked was "Did he really use a chainsaw to kill his victims"? No he did not; instead he shot them with a pistol. There are two other movies that base their characters on the monster Ed Gein; can you tell me what they are? If you said Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho and The Silence of the Lambs you are right. Like Norman Bates mother Mrs. Gein used to preach to him about the bible and how to watch out for loose woman. And Like Buffalo Bill he often crossed dress into a woman’s skin after he killed his female victims. The story goes deeper but that is all I am able to write. The character Leatherface will forever be looked upon as an evil psycho that haunts the fields of any Texas open land freeway. This tutorial will show you how to draw Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre step by step. I will be back with more in a bit so stay tuned.
