Hey guys, I’m back today, and with my return I have some pretty cool tutorials on some exciting animals and symbols. To start the day I will be showing you all "how to draw a baby crocodile", step by step. I chose to do a baby crocodile because I know that this is one reptile that folks in the south and even up north keep as pets. I know that sounds crazy, but it’s true. When crocodiles are babies it’s probably the only time that these animals are close to being cute. They look so much like dinosaurs it’s almost scary to even look at them. One of the creepy parts to drawing a baby crocodile is making their soulless eyes. That has got to be one of the eeriest parts of an animal’s body I have drawn when I drew it on this baby croc. Anyways, I think you will find this tutorial helpful, and for some of you that are lovers of these reptiles, you will find it entertaining. I have to crawl out of here because there is a lot more for me to upload. Stay tuned in and be sure to rate, comment, and even fav if you love or even hate this tutorial.

STEP 2.

Using the head shape guide, begin sketching out the actual elongated head structure of your baby croc's head and snout. Notice how the head or skull part has a split notch which is for the brows.

STEP 3.

Continue to work on the crocodile's head by sketching out the lower portion of the mouth or jaw. Notice how the neck and chest of the baby crocodile all come together. You need to incorporate the creases of folds under the neck. Sketch in some detailing along the cheek of the baby croc, and then draw in the teeth as well as the one big round eye. Make the slit pupil, and then color in a nostril hole.

STEP 4.

The next thing that you need to do is draw in the front and back legs, and then draw in the feet as well as the toes and claws. Crocodiles have a lot of wrinkles, creases and folds on their reptilian bodies. You have to make sure to include all these details when drawing the legs and feet. Once you feel confident that the limbs of the croc is well drawn, you can proceed to step five.

STEP 5.

We will be finishing off drawing the baby crocodile now, and to do this all you need to do is start at the back of the head, and start drawing the spiny looking back, and follow that lining until you form the tail. Draw in all the notches along the top of the back and tail like so, and draw the belly. Make sure to take your time with this task so the baby crocodile comes out looking detailed and a bit realistic. Erase the mistakes and guides you made along the way, and your done.
