How to Draw Emo People
In this next tutorial I thought I would do something simple and cute for all you Goth and emo kids out there. I love the look of Gothic dolls whether it is in drawing or in homemade rag dolls. My inspiration for this next tutorial came from the doll I made last year out of some rags, thread, and paint. This is going to be my third tutorial for the day and with it I will be showing you "how to draw Emo people". Now, you can call these two characters rag doll sketches, but I like to think that they resemble how cute and adorable any person can be even if they are outcast or troubled inside. Just because Goth and emo kids dress a certain way and like to listen to strange and unusual music, doesn’t mean they are broken and less loveable than anyone else. Yes I like black, and yes I like wearing Tripp pants and arm stockings, does that make me a freak? No it doesn’t. I am who I choose to be, a creative individual that looks at the world totally different than most people. I am not a freak, and I’m not evil or mean, I love and hurt like everyone else and to tell you the truth, I’m probably one of the biggest nerds I know. Anyways I thought it would be cute to draw these two characters because Halloween isn’t just about gore and horror, it’s also about kids having fun going door to door to get as much candy as possible for free. This tutorial will show you "how to draw emo people", step by step. You are getting two tutorials in one with this lesson and I hope you have a fun and safe Halloween. STEP 1.
Okay this is going to be a very simple tutorial as you can already see. What you will first want to do is draw two big circles for the shapes of the goth kids heads and add the facial guidelines as well. You will then draw out the shapes of their torso and then the guidelines for their legs and arms.
STEP 2.
In this next step you will start sketching out the shape of their faces as seen here. Than add the lining for their hair and then the outline of their eyes and mouths. You will sketch the ruffle collar on the goth girls shirt and then shape out the hands and legs on both the goth girl and the emo boy.
STEP 3.
So far so easy right? You will tackle this step by adding the shaping and lining of the goth girl's long hair as seen here and you will also need to give her tucked bangs. Sketch out more of the emo boy's hair and then give him a collar line for his tee. You will need to add the rest of the eye lines on the girl and then ruffle up the bottom of her shirt or dress. Thicken her legs and proceed on.
STEP 4.
Well you have made it to step four and you know what that means right? Yup, you are almost done. What you will do next is finish sketching out their hair style and then add eyebrows to both children. You will then give the girl a hint of a nose and thicken her lips a bit. Then move over to the boy and give him some fangs. Draw the designs on their shirts and start the lining for the heart in the middle. Lastly you will add the stitch lines on both of their faces.
STEP 5.
You have made it to your last drawing step and all you will do here is add some detailing to their hair as you can see. Once that is done give the goth girl some eyelashes and then a pierce in her nose. Add the stitch lines on their faces and then add more detailing to their clothes. You will also need to finish off the heart shape and design as well. Once you are done you can then erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.
STEP 6.
And here they are. This is what your sketch should look like when you are done. Add some color to these kids and you are all set. You have just completed this tutorial on how to draw a goth girl and an emo boy step by step. I will be back shortly with more drawing fun.Post a comment
