For the first step you will need to make a shape that looks almost exactly like a loaf of bread. Draw the guideline that is flowing horizontally across the bus and then move to step two.

2

Using the shape you just got done drawing, slowly draw out the hood, and rounded body of the bus like so. Don't forget to incorporate the tire wells along with the body of t he school bus.

3

Make some arches over each tire well which is also known as the fender. Next, draw in the tires in a simple concept like so as well as the rims.

4

All you have to do now is draw in the front headlights, side mirror, and four school bus passenger windows. Don't forget to add the molding detailing along the side of the bus. Clean up the drawing freeing it from guides and shapes.

5

Here is the finished image when you are all done with your drawing. Now you can grab some crayons, markers, colored pencils or paint to color in your newly drawn school bus.

Description: It’s been a while since I drew anything that falls in the ‘for kids’ section, so today I will add something new. Up next I will try and teach you "how to draw a bus for kids", step by step. One of the more popular buses that kids love to draw is the school bus. I think this is because scenes are drawn with kids playing in a school yard and what is a school yard drawing without the typical yellow bus in the background somewhere. The idea for the bus design was simple enough, and even though I don’t attend school anymore, I still had lots of fun creating my own version on how a bus should look. I think you will find this lesson helpful and artists of all levels can have fun with drawing a school bus too. I will return in a bit because there is still more exciting lessons coming your way. Peace out people and enjoy!
