Here is "how to draw human Tails", step by step. When the finished drawing went in my tutorial folder, my sister automatically knew who the character was supposed to be. I guess I did a good job with recreating the very popular Tails in this human form. Instead of trying to figure out how to convey that this figure flies, I came up with the idea to draw him wearing a bomber hat along with a pair of flight goggles. The end result came out epic and I am really happy with the drawing. The only problem I had was figuring out what color to make the background. At first it was going to be a tannish brown, but then I switched it to a blue color to represent flying in the air. STEP 1.
Begin with a circle for the head and then make the guidelines for the shoulders, arms, and torso like so and then draw the shapes for the hands.
STEP 2.
Now you will draw out the hat lid which should have lining that is a bit bumpy. When that is done draw the long pointed bangs which are in chunks.
STEP 3.
Before you finish drawing the bomber hat you will need to sketch out the face shape first. Just draw the chin and then draw the sides of the hat that covers the ears and cheeks. Next, draw the rest of the hat and then draw in the goggles which are strapped to the top of the hat. When you are done with the hat, you can sketch in the eyes, nose and mouth. Be sure to give human Tails a very happy and friendly expression.
STEP 4.
You are ready to draw out the neck and then after that you can sketch out the collar of the bomber jacket. The collar and sleeve cuffs should all look like cotton because that is the style of the coat. Draw the rest of the torso and then draw in the arms and or sleeves.
STEP 5.
Finish drawing out the coat by sketching out the bottom half in the typical cotton style trim. Next, draw the stitch detailing and then draw his hands like so. Take time with the hands so they come out properly.
STEP 6.
For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw in his pants in the form of jeans and then add some stitch lines for the zipper and pockets. Lastly, sketch in the tails and then add some detailing as well as clean up the sketch.
