How to Draw a Cool Chibi
There isn’t too much more I can say about all the different types of chibi characters that I submit so let me just get to the point with this one. Some of you may remember this chibi figure from a couple weeks ago as I drew her during a session of Livestream. A few days later I have been getting requests for me to make a tutorial out of the cute bubble blowing chibi that has a hip style and a personality that pops off the page. So here is "how to draw a cool chibi", step by step. She is such a cute chibi and I love how the bubble gum dresses her face to add that special burst without the burst. Anyways, that is all I have to say for now, I will return tomorrow with some more drawing fun so be sure to be here or be square. Adios people and have fun!

STEP 1.
Start off with a circle for the head and then draw the guidelines for her body and face.
STEP 2.
The next step is to draw her hip style hat that is trimmed with a skinny band. The lid is hard or squared as you can see and the top should dimple inward.
STEP 3.
Thicken the lining for the face like so, and then draw in her hair with some curls and some strands or chunks.
STEP 4.
For the next step draw out some great big eyes, and then draw in her gum bubble which covers her face. Add some detailing under the eyes and then move to step five.
STEP 5.
You will now draw the torso, and then draw in her pants or legs that are in a hip hop pose. Don't forget to draw the baggy cuffs on the bottom of the pant legs and move to step six.
STEP 6.
You are almost done folks, all you have to do is draw her arms, small chibi hands, and then add some bracelets and lining detail on her shirt and pants like so.
STEP 7.
Continue to draw in her long curly hair and then draw in her hair strands and then detail the hair until it comes out looking like the drawing you see here.
STEP 8.
Draw the shoes and then draw her soles. Clean up the drawing so you have a neat sketch to color in.
STEP 9.
Here is the finished drawing when you are all done. Now you can have fun coloring her in your own way. I hope you had fun with drawing a cool chibi.Comments: Post Comment
