How to Draw Human Amy Rose, Anime Amy Rose
I will go in a back and forth with some cool tutorials as I explained in previous lessons. Up next I will be showing you "how to draw human Amy Rose", step by step. You know I couldn’t end the human Sonic character drawings without doing an Amy Rose version. I had planned on making a tutorial out of her a while ago but I always seemed to get side tracked. I finally tackled my goal and now I’m ready to submit her for all to enjoy and learn from. I drew her last night while I was live with all those that joined in. I had such a blast yesterday and I know that today is probably going to be just as cool. The design concept for Miss Rose was not that difficult to conjure up but there are a few things that I wish I would have added now that she is all done. For example, looking at the finished drawing, I know that I should have included her holding the Piko Piko Hammer. I did however manage to incorporate the gold bangles that she wears around her wrists, as well as her stylish red colored outfit. Nonetheless, I think she came out awesome, and if you have any cool suggestions for more human transformed game characters, please let me know. I will be back with a couple more tutorials so stick around for more drawing fun.

STEP 1.
Make a circle for Amy's head ad then draw in the face guides as well as the guidelines for the body. Don't forget to make the guides.
STEP 2.
Using the head shape that you made in step one, begin sketching out the structure of Amy's face. Draw in the ear and then draw her claw shaped bangs like so, and then add a hair piece on the side of her head. Make the line for her headband and move along.
STEP 3.
Using the guidelines as our proportional aid, we'll start sketching the facials, which are bubbly according to Amy's characters. Notice how the eyes are widened compared the last Sonic human characters. Her smile is not overdone yet still shows emotion. When you draw facials for bubbly characters, you'll want to keep them subtly drawn and faint. Overly obnoxious characters will require a more expressive face. In this case, Amy is a flirty type girl.
STEP 4.
Then, we will start sketching the large strands of hair that frame the rest of the headband and head. I wanted to give her a really full set of hair to create a relative appearance as her hedgehog form. To finish off, let's complete the neck and collar which frame the rest of her neck.
STEP 5.
Next we shall draw the shoulders and the starting shapes of her chest. Note that we will be drawing one arm at a time and that her scarf feature will cover most of her right breast. She is wearing clothes similar to Sakura from Naruto, so she will have a sleeveless dress.
STEP 6.
Let's work on the arms, one by one to refrain from complexity and confusion. Take your time as you draw her arm and fingers, as they are very important to render proportionally. Her fingers should be drawn delicately, the nails lightly visible and the palm defined subtly. I did not add a golden bangle on her left hand so I went ahead and added two to her right.
STEP 7.
We'll finish off her last arm which is shortened and clenched. I wanted to give her a dynamic pose rather than a static one (3/4 standing, front standing, or hands on hips are TOO common). Granted that novices will generally begin drawing bodies with a static frontal or 3/4 pose void of action.
STEP 8.
Lastly, we shall draw the waist and dress which covers most of her visible body. Some of her thigh is peaking through but for the most part her body is pretty much covered. Sketch in some wrinkles and other defining details. Clean up the drawing so you have a neat sketch to work with when it comes time to color in human Amy rose.
STEP 9.
This is it, your finished drawing of Amy rose as a human figure. You can also refer to her as an anime figure as well, whatever you think is fin. Color her in and show your drawing off to the world. Great work guys!Comments: Post Comment
