Since the real SpongeBob is square you will need to draw the face structure in a boxy style. The chin should be slightly pointed to give some form of human shape. Sketch in the hair starting with the bangs which are swooped to the right.

Using the facial guides that you drew in step one, begin drawing the large circle shaped eyes like so. Draw the thick eyelids as well as Spongebob's lashes. Next, draw a nose, the cheek bumps, and then add the freckles. Lastly, draw the mouth and fro

Description: Hello again folks, how are you all enjoying the new lessons that I have submitted so far? I received a few e-mails asking me when I was going to submit the SpongeBob figure I was drawing live yesterday and after struggling to get him uploaded, I am pleased to tell you that now is the time that you will be learning "how to draw human SpongeBob", step by step. I had a hard time at first trying to think of a good way to make a human version of SpongeBob Squarepants. I wanted to make the figure look short, and have the many characteristic traits that the real sea critter has. Unlike the real SpongeBob, this humanized version doesn’t live under the sea in a pineapple shaped house. Instead he lives above water, he works in a burger joint flipping burgers, and he also lives in a small yellow house that has blue framed windows and bright green grass. I had so much fun creating this concept of this popular Nickelodeon character. I think you will all enjoy drawing your own version of human SpongeBob especially if you are still a fan of the cartoon series. I will return tomorrow with more lessons for you all, so be sure to return, or you can hang around here and tackle this tutorial before you go. Adios people and enjoy!
