How to Draw Zodiac Sign Virgo
Once again I am back with another cool tutorial for all the members and visitors of DragoArt.com. As I was drawing this tutorial, I came up with a cool idea. I thought it would be sweet to draw one tutorial a day on different Zodiac signs until all were complete. There are a total of twelve Zodiac sun signs and everyone is linked to their personal sign which is determined by your date of birth. There is Aries the Ram, Taurus the Bull, Gemini the Twins, Cancer the Crab, Leo the Lion, Virgo the Virgin, Libra the Balance, Scorpio the Scorpion, Sagittarius the Archer, Capricorn the Horned Goat, Aquarius the Water-Bearer, and Pisces the Fish. Of course all these signs are from the Western Zodiac, there is always the Chinese Zodiac as well and that is mostly seen on the place mats at Chinese restaurants. The sign that I will be showing you how to draw today is Virgo. That means you will learn how to draw Zodiac sign Virgo step by step. I chose to do the Virgo first because that is my mothers sign. But tomorrow I will start from the top of the Zodiac list the way it is laid out in order. The Virgo’s symbol is as you now a virgin and if your birth date falls around August 23 to September 22, this is your sign. The Virgo is described as being precise, refined, quietly reserved, and soft spoken. They are known to be sensible and discreet as well as wise and witty with a knowledgeable understanding of the problems of others. When describing a Virgo the word charm comes up very often because they are easily liked and trusted. Their element is Earth and if you’re a Virgo your colors are navy blue, dark grey, and brown. The ruler of Virgo is Mercury and glyph (which is the “M” looking symbol) is known to be connected to the immaculate conception of the Messiah, which basically refers to the conception of the Virgin Mary. This tutorial will show you how easy it is to learn how to draw Zodiac sign Virgo step by step. I hope you liked this informative description about the Virgo and later I will be submitting more cool drawing lessons. I shall return gang so don’t go to far away.

STEP 1.
Well you will start this step by drawing out the guidelines and shapes to form a nice frame for the virgin and then the guidelines for the "M" glyph. Start by drawing a circle for the head and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw out the shapes of the shoulders and breast as well as the outline of her body position. Over to the left you will then draw three vertical lines and three horizontal lines.
STEP 2.
You will first start this tutorial by drawing out the shape of the glyph to the left. After that is done you will start sketching out the shape of her long flowing hair and make sure that her hair is thick and wavy. Add the loop for her earring and then draw out the shapes of her arms and hand as well as her thick bracelet. You will then sketch out the real lining of her gown and when you do this make sure the lines are made with creases and wrinkles.
STEP 3.
You are on step three and now you are ready to start adding some beauty to your Zodiac symbol. You will first cap off the glyph by drawing the rounded tops and then finish sketching out the shape of her long curly hair as shown. You will then add the lines for her eyee and mouth. Next draw the lining for the gown that covers her chest and add some wrinkle lines as well. You will then finish the shape of her arm and then her fingers.
STEP 4.
As you can see your virgin is looking more and more beautiful with each step. So far it's pretty simple right? You will tackle this step by drawing out the front and sides of her wavy hair as well as adding strand lines. Sketch out a pair of nicely shaped eyebrows as well as the shape of her eyes and mouth. You will then add some detailing to her gown by adding wrinkle lines and then draw out the shape of her foot.
STEP 5.
Well you have finally made it to your last drawing step and I bet you are relived right? I know. You will begin this last step by first erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one. Then add strands or detail to her hair and then detail her eyes by giving her some eyeballs and pupils. Add some finger and toe nails and you are done.
STEP 6.
This is what your sketch should end up looking like when you are done. All you have to do is color her in and that is it. I hope you had fun learning how to draw Zodiac sign Virgo step by step. I will be back in a while with more drawing fun.Comments: Post Comment
