Last week I showed you all how to draw Zim and now today I will show you an easy way you can teach yourself "how to draw GIR" from Invader Zim. I thought about doing him as a tutorial before, but I didn’t know if anyone would want him. Well, that all changed when one of my buddies put in a request for GIR and then I was like, sweet. Now for those of you that watch the show you already know that "GIR" is a robot that needs some work at times. The Irken’s give these units to invaders to assist them with their missions to take over other planets, like Zim is trying to do with Earth. GIR is supposed to aid Zim in his conquest to take over Earth but that hardly ever happens. For a robot he displays a manic type of personality and he is never consistently in his “useful operation frequency”. In fact this is an on going problem for Zim because there are times when he truly does need the aid from his multipurpose robot. GIR’s name is some what unclear of what it stands for, but ultimately he is a version of the Irken S.I.R which is a Standard-issue Information Retrieval unit. GIR is often dressed in a green colored dog suit, (to disguise his true identity), that has an oversized prominent zipper in the front which ends up looking obvious and a big red tab that looks like the tongue of a dog. I think GIR is a cute but odd robot that sometimes does more harm than good when his help is needed by Zim. In this drawing lesson I will show you "how to draw GIR" from Invader Zim step by step.
