1

Make one horizontal line like so for your first guide.

2

Begin sketching out the D for Dorothy, and as you come around from the bottom of the letters base, be sure to slowly draw the straight swirl that turns into a large Z for the word Oz.

3

Slowly sketch out the O and the R both in capital letter format.

4

Finish drawing the letters to complete the name Dorothy by drawing the O, T, H, and Y. Again they are all in capital letters.

5

And finally, draw a great bi O and draw the word in lowercase letters 'of'. Clean up the mistakes that you may have made, as well as the single guideline.

6

If you didn't color in your letters as you drew them the way I did, you can start coloring in the letters that spell Dorothy of Oz.

Description: So I have more information about the 2012 theater release of the CGI film Dorothy of Oz. Supposedly it is said to be released in August and as of right now the date is around the third. The film is based on the book from Roger Stanton Baum. There is an all-star cast that makes up the voices for each character of the story. Today I will attempt to show you "how to draw Dorothy of Oz", using step by step instructions. If you are wondering who is going to be cast as voice actors, here is the list as I read who is going to be who; Lea Michele is going to be the voice of Dorothy Gale, Martian Short is the voice of the wicked Jester, Dan Aykroyd is going to be the voice of Scarecrow, The Tin Man is Kelsey Grammer, and James Belushi is the Cowardly Lion. The words for this lesson should be rather simple to replicate. All you have to do is take your time and make sure that the guidelines are sketched in, not drawn. There is no real information I can tell you about this movie because since it’s not scheduled for release until August of 2012, the details or specifics is not available right now. All you can do for now is have fun drawing Dorothy of Oz, and I will be back either today, or tomorrow with more drawing fun. Adios people and enjoy!
